Charlie,

Had the pleasure of seeing your show at the Opera House last Wednesday. Blown away by your energy and interpretation – plenty of laughter too. Orlando Bloom really should have had less hair.

Makes me think of something – my daughter was only 7 or 8 years old when this happened. She came out with “Welcome to Rivendell, Mr Anderson!”

I thought this was very perceptive at the time – and you made a similar reference, which was a joy to hear.

That’s the only sad thing – my kids (now grown) would have loved to see your show, and won’t get the chance this time. Too of them will be in Canada next year, so hopefully they find you.

Leads to a questions – since my chances of seeing your one man star wars show are pretty slim.. do you sell a video of same? I’d buy it!

How is your tooth? I saw the little piece fall from your dungarees (coveralls) to the ground and then “gollum” clank it off the stage later on. Depending on how good the cleaners are at the Opera House, you might still be able to salvage it from the front of center stage!
Hope it isnt too painful!

I saw your show in Hobart, and I must say that although my expectations were high, they were exceeded. I was too shy to stick around and chat, but I would have loved to say thanks in person … one tolkien nerd to another!

But anyway, thanks! It was hilarious and awe-inspiring, and I hadn’t laughed so much in ages!

Saw the OMLotR yesterday afternoon in Canberra with the rest of my family. It was absolutely bloody brilliant. Even my wife who isn’t a big LotR fan like my son and me but who did enjoy the films had a good time. My son and daughter and I all laughed and we all had a great time. For such a big task it was an astounding performance. I hope you tour the Star Wars show to Canberra soon and if I’ve missed it then bugger!

We are booked to see you, and we are sooooo looking forward to it. We saw One Man Star Wars and our faces hurt by the end because of laughing/smiling so much.

Glad you enjoyed your trip to Worthing and even more glad that you said some nice things about the town.

Yes – Worthing is laid back.

And it you were a duck you’d have been very glad to have sandwich crusts thrown at you by the locals.

Changing the subject – how long do you think it would be until you noticed your wig had fallen off!

Perhaps the only thing more bizarre would be if you’d spotted a misplaced wooden leg.

Great show in Loughborough too. Friends had said how good Star Wars was and brought me along to this one, so glad I made it! As a die-hard fan of the books and films I loved the way you recreated the characters and stories in a way that was both funny and appreciative. And just generally gripping theatre. Thank You!
